Rose is my family name and since I’m military and always away from them, I wanted to be able to always have a piece of home with me, and a reminder of why I do all the difficult things that I do on a daily basis.
I got this at Flesh Electric Tattoo in San Antonio, TX. Kep was my tattoo artist. He’s so talented, and so patient - he catered to every single tiny change I asked for, and made such an exquisite, beautiful tattoo for me. He also didn’t just use black and white, he used all kinds of grays to add depth to it.
Four hours, I felt like he was scraping my SOUL by the end, but I took it like the soldier that I am, and every second was worth it. I’m so in love.
Sacrifices Set in Adorned Stone
Luke SharrettOn this Memorial Day let us not only remember the combatants who died but remember the women, men and children who preach for peace. Let us remember the innocent men, women and children who fell victims to war, but overall let us demand peace.
This post will pretty much sum it all up for today.
my traditional Texas tattoo, y’all. My original idea was just the outline of the state with some roses around it but this is way better. I love this state, it’s home and always will be.
